Common questions
What It Costs to Get It Sorted
How does your upfront fixed pricing work?
A licensed plumber looks at the job on site and gives you one number before any work starts. That figure is what you pay, whether the job runs smoothly or turns out fiddlier than expected.
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
It applies to any first booking, phone or online, whichever service you need. There's no separate voucher code to remember, it just comes off the total automatically.
What payment options do you offer?
You settle up once the job's complete and you're satisfied with it. We'll talk you through the options available at the time, but there's no pressure to pay anything upfront.
Does the price change once you start?
Not for the work we quoted. If something genuinely bigger turns up mid-job, we stop, explain it, and get your sign-off on a revised number before touching anything further.
Common questions
Licensed, Insured and Done Properly
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, on both counts. Every plumber on the tools holds a current NSW licence, and the business carries full insurance behind every job we take on.
Can you check my licence number?
Absolutely. It's #465156C, and it's a public record you can pull up yourself on verify.licence.nsw.gov.au whenever you like.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
If a repair fails because of our own workmanship, we come back and fix it properly at no extra charge. It's not a limited-time offer, it's how we stand behind our work.
Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?
Yes, our gas fitters hold the specific licence gas work requires in NSW. A suspected gas leak always gets someone properly qualified, never a general plumber working outside their scope.
Common questions
Response, Timing and Booking
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, our on-call roster doesn't pause for weekends or public holidays. A real person answers the phone regardless of what day it happens to be.
What happens after I call?
We talk through what's going on, confirm access, and get a licensed plumber moving. On arrival, the problem gets assessed properly and you get a fixed price before anything begins.
How fast can you get here?
For a genuine emergency we push to get someone out the same day. You'll get an honest sense of timing on the call itself, never a vague promise.
How do I book?

Common questions
The Gordon Questions
What suburbs do you service around Gordon?
Killara, Pymble, St Ives, Roseville and Lindfield all sit inside our regular coverage, alongside Gordon itself.
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
We mostly handle emergency and repair work, but renovation-related plumbing does come up often, especially when an old fitting gets uncovered mid-project and needs sorting before work continues.
Why do Gordon's older homes get plumbing emergencies?
A lot of the housing here dates to the Federation era, and decades-old pipes and hot water units simply reach the end of their working life, often without much warning beforehand.
How local are you, really?
Genuinely local. Our vans are regularly on these streets, past Gordon Recreation Grounds and the Stony Creek valley that the Ku-ring-gai Flying-fox Reserve sits within, not just passing through occasionally.
